Super Bowl XLVII GO 49ERS!!

So today is the big day! It's Super Bowl Sunday and my team is playing. It is no secret that my family and I are HUGE 49ER FANS! I know I have been one since I was a little girl. I was raised loving RED & GOLD!

 

 

I AM SO EXCITED! IT IS GOING TO BE A GREAT GAME!!!!!!

 

I looked threw a ton of recipes to find the perfect delicious dish for today. We decided to make Game Day Chili. How perfect right? Once we try it and I know it yummy I will do a blog recipe on it for all of you.

 

For good luck I even went out and had my nails Shelaced with RED & GOLD!

 

 

We also took most all of my husband 49ER Man Cave Decor out and put it all over our living room for extra good luck!

 

 

 

 

So as you can see this game is no joke to my family! We are going to be on the edge of our seats.

Once I get off work I will be changing into my head to toe 49er outfit. Literally. PIC COMING SOON.

Relaxing Day!

Woke up and had a fun enjoyable day with Terra. I missed her so much cause she was with Tims parents the previous 2 nights. So I was very much looking forward to having her back. She is the best baby ever.

But yesterday at work I also had planned a wonderful mommy relaxation day for today. I lined up trade massages for me and my bff Sara. I love having a tradable skill and It was much needed. She found a sitter for her 2 month old Savanna and Tim watched Terra for the afternoon.

We had 2:15 appts and we got there an hour early to enjoy the amenities (hot tub, steam room etc.) Its was nice to chat and just get some stuff off our chests. Then we decided it would be fun to have massages in the couples room. It was so nice and we were both so relaxed.

Every mom needs to take time for herself and for me massages are the perfect way to do it!

Another Day in our lives....

Today started out great. Terra slept in until 8am and we all around had a great morning! I made pancakes for breakfast which is one of my favorites and its looking like its going to be a favorite of Terra's as well. Then we played and laughed and had a good time, the sound of her giggle makes my heart melt. 

Then our Comcast guy came out around 9:30am. This was the 3rd time they had to come to our house because they kept bringing the wrong equipment. We got the triple play (TV,Internet & Voice) and its supposed to come with these hi tech boxes called x-1 and for some reason they don't ship them automatically they have to be asked for which is crap! So long story short we are going to be getting a discount on our bill! 

Once Terra went down for her late morning nap, I got my shower in. Then I decided since I didn't have to work for another few hours that I would VLOG. So I looked up a fun TAG video to do. The Mama Beauty TAG (link here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ao789loGXA). I love doing TAG videos.

Once work time rolled around I had to get in my car and head out on my long commute to St. Helena. I had an employee meeting today to go over all the new plans for the new 5 star spa were building starting in April. Its going to cost about 8 million dollars. I am so excited because I have worked there for 7 years and we need it very very much. It should be done in Fall of 2014. I also was supposed to have a 4pm client that cancelled on me last min (hate that). So I basically drove all the way there and made $0 that sucks.

On a happier note I came home and Terra was napping and I got to heat up left over tomato soup and sit down in piece and quiet and eat my dinner, which almost never happens. Also Tim cleaned that house which make me very happy...

Now I have to prepare for bed because I have to get up at 3:30am to go to work cause I am opening the Spa. YIKES. Good night everyone.

Another day without work....

I have only worked 3 days this whole pay period. Its been so so slow....

But I am not complaining because I get to spend the days with my baby girl. I hate leaving her to go to work. I feel like I miss so much of her short life.

Anyways.... so since its freezing outside and I dont have any plans I think I am going to cook. I am going to make homemade tomato soup! My friend Ashley gave the recipe to me and its devine. Plus I have a ton of ripe bananas and I need to use them so im also going to make banana bread.

I can't wait for Terra to be old enough to help me in the kitchen. I cant wait to share all my knowledge with her. <3

Influenster Palmovile Review

So a few days ago I received a box at my door. It was a Vox Box from Influenster. I was super excited. I grabbed it and they noticed that it had a Palmolive sticker on the side, I got even more excited because I was almost out of dish soap & its one of my favorite brands.

 

So I quickly opened it and noticed that there were 3 FULL SIZE bottles in there with 3 different scents. I again was very happy because that is enough soap for at least 6 months if not more for us. Then I wanted to open them to test out the scents, they were all very nice but my favorite is the Lemon. I love citrus in the kitchen, it makes everything smell super clean.

 

That night after dinner while I was doing dishes I decide to officially test it out. I washed dishes by hand instead of using the dishwasher and I was very happy with how well it cleaned, the sent, the bubbles and the lasting power of just a few drops. I also noticed that it left my hands feeling soft, which is important this time of year.

 

Over the past few days I have tried out the other scents and I like them also and I will def be letting my friends and family sample these.  

Its been forever....Life Update

Okay so its been well over a year since I have blogged. I created this and posted only 1 time. So sad.

 

So I am going to try and get back into it. I will do my best to post a few times a week. I have the app on my phone so it should not be to hard.

 

But to catch you guys up as to what has been happening over the past year....

 

I got pregnant with my daughter in May of 2011. May 27th to be exact. I had an amazing pregnancy, it was 99% complication free. I did end up having a c-section after a very hard labor though. I was induced and I believe that was the reason why, but it was all worth it because now I have the most amazing baby girl.

 

She is now 11 months and 6 days old! WHHHAAATTT?!?! How on earth did time go by so fast. She is walking and saying a few words and just all over the place, I have started the birthday party planning process. Were doing cupcake and glitter theme! It is going to be go cute. I am also having a shirt made for her from Etsy that says her name and age. I am sad she is not going to be a little baby anymore but I am so excited for the next stage and all the fun that is to come.

Also since having a baby, my body has changed in so many ways. My hip are bigger, my belly jiggles a lot more than it did before and my feet are bigger also (I guess that's all to come with growing a human inside you) but I am very insecure about my body these days. I need to loose weight but I just cannot seem to get myself on the band wagon.

 

I think the reason is that I just know myself and I know that I am going to do it for a while and loose weight and then I will end up just putting it back on, and I do not want that to happen again. So I have decided that I am going to look into a more drastic approach. Weight Loss Surgery. I have not decided on what one yet but I am leaning towards the LapBand. I will be talking to my doctor very soon about moving forward with this. I will keep everyone updated as I go.

 

I think that is it for now. I don't want to write a novel, but I will definatly start doing more daily blogs to let everyone know what were up to. I will also be putting up product reviews for things here and there.
